    UAE Visa: What Has Changed

As per the representatives of the Amer centre, the rule was implemented last week. Applications to the visa that include no passport cover page will no longer be accepted. Instructions have been issued to both Amer centres and travel agencies of uploading the cover page of all visit visas and entry permits.

A representative of the Amer affirmed that his office has started attaching the cover page to all such visas as visit visas as well as other entry permits on its webpage after being notified through an email.

Required Documents for UAE Visa Applications

When you are applying a UAE visit visa, or entry permit, you are now expected to submit the following:

    • A clear copy of your passport
    • Front side picture of your passport.
    • Passport-size photograph
    • Hotel booking confirmation
    • Return flight ticket

Any of these documents may be missing and this may result in rejection of your visa application.

    What This Means for Travellers

The bonus rule is simple and significant: you should attach the passport cover page to your application. This is in case of any kind of visit visa and entry permits. In case you do not include the cover page, your application will not be received.

Besides the update of the visa, Emirates have also unveiled a new onboard safety policy. Beginning October 1, 2025, passengers cannot use power banks on board any longer.

    Key Points of the Ban:

    • Power banks can still be transported by passengers in their hand luggage.
    • Power banks should not be turned on during the journey.
    • The prohibition covers such power banks of any brands and type.

According to the airline, the given policy is aimed at the improvement of passenger safety and the elimination of risks associated with lithium-ion battery devices.

    Final Thoughts

Two new rules are critical to consider by travellers who are travelling to the UAE:

    • Applications of Visa now need the passport cover page.
    • Starting on October 1, 2025, the Emirates clients will not be able to operate the power banks on-board.

The advance preparations make the visitors not to wait long when it comes to getting the visa and experience a seamless travel experience with Emirates.
